Adventure Game:
This was my first attempt to seriously make a game. I spent about a month in GameMaker studio 1.4 programming it all out. It’s an attempt at cloning Zelda II From the NES era.
Since I hadn’t updated GameMaker Studio 1.4 to the latest version when I compiled it, Windows will flag it as untrustworthy. I’ve lost the original files for it so I can’t do anything about that unfortunately.
Morse Code Practice Tool:
I made this one morning because I drank way too much coffee and wasn’t used to that amount of caffeine in my system.
over the course of an afternoon I made a switch statement for all 26 letters of the alphabet and the numbers 0-9, and a function to detect the morse code signals and convert them to the appropriate letter, and to add a space when there’s a pause in input.
Side note: Softronic Picked this up without my knowledge and made a post about it, making this my most successful project as of 2021!
Infinate Seagulls!
I actually ended up making this one twice because I lost the original files. this was my true first attempt at game development, testing the waters and seeing what it was all about.
Playable in browser
Unnamed Side Scrolling Shooter
Unreleased
I worked on this project with another individual who is an artist and programmer, the goal was to make a polished experience. I’d say we halfway succeeded. the game has random level generation and two types of weapons.
